Teens

Teen Programs at the Studio Museum provide a safe environment for teens to express themselves creatively. Programs offer students the opportunity to meet and converse with prominent visual artists, express their ideas in discussions, participate in tours and hands-on workshops, and develop important communication and critical thinking skills.

Expanding the Walls

Expanding the Walls: Making Connections Between Photography, History and Community is an eight-month photography-based program for a select group of students enrolled in a high school or GED program.

Art Looks

Art Looks introduces high school–aged youth to contemporary artists through discussions and workshops in museums, artist studio visits, and behind-the-scenes explorations into arts and cultural

Studio Works

Studio Works is an intensive art-making workshop series designed to give teens the opportunity to advance their own artistic processes by working directly with professional artists.

Teen Leadership Council

The Teen Leadership Council is a group of New York City-based teens that foster a fun and safe space for teens to express creative ideas with The Studio Museum in Harlem.
